for generations to see does so
not on its own, but through the woman
whom God has blessed to be its mother
She who is the vehicle of life
also leads us by example to eternal life
She is the Jewel of His Crown
And when worldliness weighs
her family down, she cushions it
with faith and trust
When framework falters
she holds it together with commitment
and when complexity has us in awe
her prayers spark communication
and understanding
The family founded in His word
is the crown trimmed in gold, forged
from elements of nature and love
The crown is eternal, immortal, invisible
But she is the jewel that gives it
virtue and light.
