Indigo Blue

Clouds of indigo blue smother me,
You're next to me in my mind,
But miles away in truth.

Why do you persist in haunting me?
I wish to be with you, but am lost, alone.
(You always had a way of disjointing my feelings.)

I thought when I left town to be free--
Free from you and all your wiles;
But I guess memory is my private Hell.

How can I disentangle my soul from yours?
I can't live with you or without you.
you are my devil/guardian angel.

Clouds of indigo blue smother me,
You're next to me in my mind,
But miles away in truth.
